"T-Rice's is located at the corner of Oxford St Rd and Yankee Rd. He is been in business for awhile I guess, but never really did a good job of advertising out front that he does auto repair. I think before he just did custom work on hot rods and such. Nonetheless, my father in law and myself recently took both of our vehicles to him for repairs and he did it efficiently, and at a very reasonable cost. He explained the repairs to me throughly that he had done. Cozy Nails Spa - phantomefx says they'll Keep On Buying

"I recently went to Cozy Nails Spa in the Heritage shopping center in Monroe and I have finally found a nail place I like. I was referred to Mindy, one of the owners, and she did a fabulous, efficient job. She speaks good English, which let's face it, its important that the nail tech understands whats you want. They were all friendly, and welcoming. I was in on New Years Eve and they all worked together as a team to wipe out a bunch of people wanting their nails done. Olan Mills - phantomefx says it's Not Worth Trying

"Good to know...I have been wondering about them since we will be having a new addition to the family and will be requiring photography services soon. My first turn off about Olan Mills is that they are located in Kmart and Kmart in Middletown does not believe in using the air conditioner and it is so hot in there all the time. I can only imagine how fussy your daughter was after having to wait that long and then be hot in there on top of it. Cleghorn Roofing - phantomefx says they'll Keep On Buying

"After trying to get some other big name roofers out after to hurricane winds to no avail, I finally called my insurance agent who recommended Cleghorn Roofing from Carlisle. I called him and he came out, gave me a written estimate and I had the work done that weekend. He showed up at the exact time he gave me and the roof looks fantastic. His estimate for work was almost to the dollar that insurance estimated it to be so he does not inflate prices especially since he could have with the high demand from people needing roof work from the hurricane winds. Josh Tirey Roofing - phantomefx says it's Not Worth Trying

"I called Josh Tirey roofing to come out for an estimate on a leaking roof and some drywall work. He seemed straight up and came out fairly quickly for the estimate. He did not give me a written estimate, just an oral estimate. After saying he would come do my roof one weekend, my husband got up early both weekend days, they never showed up. I called him and he said he would look into and call me back. Nothing. I call him and he then tells me he sent someone to do the work. However, noone ever let me know they were here, he never left an invoice and my dogs never barked to alert me anyone was near my home much less on my roof which i would of heard and I never left the house the day he claims someone was here. So I challenged him and told him he would need to prove to me work was done. He was supposed to come one Thrusday or Friday, and no show no call. TWO WEEKS later to the day, he shows up unannounced and went up and took a pic of the place he supposedly did. I advised him I would need an invoice which included who did the work, what day and time there were there, and a checklist of what was done. he couldnt even provide it at that time. SO i told him I would have someone to verify the work was done and the work was not done. I called him and let him know that and he decided apparently he had enough of me and told me he would not accept payment from me. Big of him since I highly doubt he did the work. I cant verify how his work is since he enver did any for me to my knowledge but I can attest to the fact that he doesnt keep his word on appointments. He claims he was so busy with the hurricane storms but this all happened PRIOR to this storms, when he supposedly did the roof work. I would never recommend him for anything. in fact, i had my drywall done for $300.00 less than his estimate and it was more drywall than he was going to do. I feel he inflates prices, according to the experience I have had. Again, keep in mind I cannot attest for his work, I only attest for the experience I have had with his lack of customer service." - 10/8/2008 3:00:21 PM

Dan's Drywall Repair - phantomefx says they'll Keep On Buying

"I contacted Dan's Drywall in Middletown to replace some drywall that had been ruined due to a leak in my roof. He came out very quickly, next day as a matter of fact, and gave me my estimate. This estimate happened to be $300.00 less than another estimate I was given and Dan offered to come back same day to do the work. His work was exceptional, in fact he did more work than the previous estimate giver was even going to do. The finished work was fantastic and I would recommend him without a doubt. I guess he does interior painting too but I only had drywall done." - 10/8/2008 2:48:06 PM

"My husband went there and literally it looked like my 3 yo nephew could have cut his hair better. I couldnt believe he didnt say anything to the girl who cut it. It was uneven on the top where it was spiked. it was bad. I will not let him go back there." - 2/19/2008 12:09:10 PM
